On Thursday, June 28, the campus received a flood of telephone calls that appeared to be from random Washington, D.C. telephone numbers over the course of approximately 10 minutes. The calls were automated, and the message was not in English. During this time, some people that were otherwise unaffected by the robocalls were unable to make or receive off-campus calls. The Office of Technology Services (OTS) is investigating the incident and ways to minimize the impact if an incident like this occurs again.
