Join an exclusive, top-of-our game team standing up innovation and entrepreneurship at Towson University! The Student Launch Pad Associates program is looking for the best and brightest entrepreneurial-minded students to compete for one of five positions each semester.

Student Launch Pad Associate Positions Fall 2018

Marketing

  • Work with Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship Director, Student Launch Pad (SLP) manager and other SLP Associates to create and execute a marketing plan including creating and managing promotional materials and social media platforms.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive users to social accounts and build awareness and use of the Student Launch Pad
  • Other duties as assigned.

Events

  • Work with Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship Director and Student Launch Pad manager to plan and execute leading edge entrepreneurial programming at Towson University.
  • Assist with execution of logistics for all events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Communications

  • Love messages and messaging? This critical position is the digital voice of the Student Launch Pad and entrepreneurship@TU.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies with the SLP Team to drive users to social accounts and build awareness and use of the Student Launch Pad.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Tabling

  • Like people? Have a passion for entrepreneurship? This position is for you. You are our #1 cheerleader.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  Operations

  • Work with Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE) Director and Student Launch Pad (SLP) manager to strategically manage all aspects of CIE and SLP.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Expectations

Each Student Launch Pad Associate holds open hours in the Student Launch Pad- 10 hours a week spread over 2 days- where they are the welcoming face of entrepreneurship@TU and assist students with 1:1 consulting. (Training provided.)

Each SLP Associates receives a $1,000 scholarship per semester.
