First Fridays provides students the opportunity to volunteer at various organizations on the first Friday of each month. Transportation is provided from campus to the service site and back to campus at the end of the event. First Fridays run from September through May.
On Friday, November 3rd, First Fridays will volunteer with Baltimore Urban Gardening with Students (BUGS) an organization striving to empower and inspire children to develop academically, creatively, and socially. Volunteers will be gardening and interacting with the children in the after-school program.
Volunteers will meet on campus at 2:15 p.m. and return to campus around 6:30 p.m. transportation is provided.
