Marketing in the Shadow of the Bordeaux Vineyards, France (Minimester Faculty-Led Study Abroad)

Explore the principles of marketing with Towson University in January 2018 in Bordeaux, France. This course will introduce you to the basics of marketing, including designing, distributing, pricing, and promoting goods, services, and people with a focus on international markets. A combination of guest lectures and visits to local and international businesses will allow you to see the course concepts in action.

Visits and activities include several vineyards, high tech industry plants, a cognac old town and spirit maker, an oyster farm by the seaside, and a few days in Paris with its many monuments and attractions.

Students will choose from one of the following courses:

  • MKTG 341 Principles of Marketing (3 credits)
  • MKTG 495 Independent Research (3 credits)

TU students may receive Honors College credit for their study abroad experience.
