New Student Programs and Academic Advising are looking for Welcome to TU Volunteers! Volunteers would serve as a “First Year Experience Student Advisor” during the First Year Experience Advising Day on August 25th!
Volunteers would:
- Get to share their TU experiences with incoming freshman students
- Lead icebreaker activities
- Assist in teaching students how to navigate PeopleSoft and Blackboard
- Receive a Welcome to TU t-shirt and hat
- Be able to move into on campus housing assignments early
Volunteers must
- Currently be enrolled in classes
- Be in good academic and disciplinary standing with the university
- Be available for training on Wednesday, August 23rd from 4pm-7pm
- Be available for FYE Advising Day on Friday, August 25th from 11am-5pm.
