2017 Move-Out Information

Move-Out is almost here! Don’t dumpster your stuff.  Donate it instead. All students are encouraged to donate unopened, non-perishable food, and clean, reusable clothing and household goods (including furniture). Collection boxes will be conveniently placed in the lobby of each Residence Hall. If you need help with a larger item, let us know!

Food collected during move-out is donated to the TU FoodShare, located at the Newman Center. The FoodShare offers up to 10 free food items to any student, faculty or staff in need per week.

Clothing and household items will be donated to charity.

Procedures for Bikes:

Students should to take their bikes home at the end of each academic year.  If you wish to donate your unwanted bike to charity, please email gogreen@towson.edu to make arrangements.  If a student intends to remain on-campus for the summer (summer classes, summer TU job, etc.) and they have a bike, they should email  gogreen@towson.edu to request a special permit tag that will identify their bike as legitimate to remain on-campus.  All other bikes left on-campus will be assumed abandoned and will be processed at found property.  If a student feels that their bike was removed in error then they can contact Joe Sabbat at the Student Union Info Desk at 4-INFO.
