Both experience and research indicates that students who make a connection with their professors are more motivated and optimistic about succeeding in classes. Alex Alli, a Student Advisor in the Academic Advising Center and a Business Administration major, will share ideas and facilitate a discussion on how students can approach professors, develop a good working relationship, and get more benefit from their classes.
The Importance of Reaching out to Your Professor, a student to student workshop, will be held on Tuesday, April 4th at 11:30 AM in Cook Library Room 513. This workshop is especially geared to the questions and needs of freshmen, sophomores, and transfer students. There will be cool giveaways (prizes!) not to mention some valuable takeaways!
