“What Matters” Speaker Series Lecture on “The Real Cost of Dirty Energy in Maryland”

Friday, April 14, 3:00pm in College of Liberal Arts room 2310

Seth Bush, grassroots organizer with the Sierra Club in Maryland, will speak on “The Real Cost of Dirty Energy in Maryland.”  Mr. Bush spends most of his time organizing communities in Baltimore to advocate for a just and equitable transition from outdated coal-burning power to locally-made clean energy. He is also very involved in campaigns working for fair development instead of trash incineration, the transportation of crude oil by rail, and fracking.
