Benefits Bulletin: Protect your loved ones – are your beneficiary designations up to date?

It is good practice to check your beneficiary designations periodically to make sure they reflect your intentions.  It is particularly important to update these records if you have recently had a significant life change such as a divorce or birth.

If you are enrolled in a retirement plan, a supplemental retirement plan, life insurance, or accidental death & dismemberment insurance through TU and wish to update your beneficiaries on any or all of these benefits, please follow the guidelines below.  All beneficiary changes are sent directly to the plan, as the Office of Human Resources does not retain these documents.  Please mail beneficiary updates to the address on each form and remember to keep a copy for your personal records.
