Dr. Mariana Lebron’s Talk on “Psychological Experiences of Power and Procedural Justice among Faculty of Color”

Dr. Mariana Lebron, Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at Towson University, will discuss the initial stages of her research exploring factors that influence retention of faculty of color (FOC). This study will examine how the psychological experiences of power with promotion, tenure, merit and reappointment (PTMR) committees and fairness perceptions of the university climate influence performance of faculty of color.

This event is open to all faculty, staff, and students. Light refreshments will be provided.

The Multiculturalism in Action Brown Bag Series is a new brown bag series sponsored by the Office of the Provost’s Diversity Faculty Fellows Program. The brown bags will showcase diversity-related research and multicultural scholarly activities conducted by Towson University faculty.
