It’s been 12 years since the American Heart Association’s first National Wear Red Day® and in that time they’ve made incredible progress in fighting heart disease and stroke in women.
Today, about 285 fewer women die each day from heart disease and stroke and death in women has decreased by more than 30 percent.
We’re thrilled by the progress made, but know there’s still more to be done to fight the biggest killer of women. After all, 43 million American women still suffer from cardiovascular disease. Help us, at the TU Health Center, raise awareness to end this killer of women. Take a moment to share why you GoRed today on your social media profiles using the #TUGoRed
