The holidays are a time to celebrate, give thanks, and reflect. They are also a time to pay special attention to your health. Give the gift of health and safety to yourself and others by following these tips:
- Wash your hands often to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others.
- Avoid serious health problems such as hypothermia by staying warm and dry, and wearing several layers of clothing.
- Manage stress by getting enough sleep, asking for support from friends and family, and keeping a relaxed and positive outlook.
- Handle and prepare food safely–wash hands and surfaces often; keep raw meat and poultry away from ready-to-eat foods and eating surfaces.
