Do you have an idea that can change Towson? If so, Project Towson is your avenue to getting your voice heard about change in the Towson community. This is a platform for innovators determined to showcase their idea to “reimagine and transform” our community.
This event is similar to “Ted Talks” and has the same format and structure. The presentations will be in a variety of formats, from a traditional presentation to a short film or an art project highlighting an important subject.
Presenters may cover a wide range of topics, from social justice to sustainability to applied research. The common element between the presentations will be a clear vision for transforming the Towson community.
This event is open to all Towson community members, including Towson University students, faculty, and staff. Please visit www.projecttowson.com for more details and to apply. The application deadline is Oct. 15.
Project Towson will be on Nov. 5 from 4 p.m. at the Chesapeake Ballrooms in the University Union.
