Learn more about the Honors experience, our admission and academic requirements, and meet our students at our information session on Tuesday, October 6 at 6 PM in WVC, Ballroom B. The Honors College is now accepting applications for current Towson freshmen and sophomore students interested in joining the program. Students in Honors have access to distinct Honors College seminars as well as Honors versions of existing courses, and are encouraged to pursue a number of experiential learning opportunities such as study abroad, independent study, internships, and thesis options. Students accepted into Honors are expected to begin taking Honors courses in the spring 2016 semester. All Honors students must maintain a 3.3 GPA at Towson, and a 3.0 GPA in Honors courses, in order to remain in good standing with the Honors College. Some Honors College course requirements may be waived depending on class standing and courses completed.
