If you are currently covering a grandchild, legal ward, or other child relative under your health plan, you will receive a post-card in early September, from the state of Maryland, informing you of eligibility changes. Effective January 1, 2016 coverage for these dependents will terminate at the end of the month in which they turn age 25 instead of the end of the month in which they turn age 26.
