Towson University students can have their voices heard when SGA holds its annual officer elections.

The election will decide which student leaders will advocate on behalf of the entire undergraduate campus population on issues ranging from academics, student life, student safety and other numerous issues.

This past year, SGA allocated over $1.6 million of student fees for events, activities and initiatives.

“The election commission encourages every to vote as the students elected will have a direct impact on their college experience,” said Chris Rindosh, coordinator for student organizations at Towson.

There are two ways to vote. The first is online at involved.towson.edu and then clicking on the yellow banner at the top of the screen. Students will have to use their TUID information to vote. Voting online will last until 4 p.m. today.

The second way is at polling places located around campus. Voting can be done at the University Union, Cook Library, Freedom Square and the first floor of the West Village Commons. Voting will be held in these locations from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Election winners will be announced at 5 p.m on Thursday.
