Are you teaching a course with a service-learning component during the spring 2015 term? If so, please don’t forget to designate your course as Service-Learning by reaching out to your department chair or administrative assistant. The #24 designation indicates to students that the course has a Service-Learning component. Additionally it allows the Office of Civic Engagement & Leadership to track which Service-Learning courses are being taught on campus in order to provide information and support.
The Class Note #24 reads: “Class requires 10-30 hours of service outside of scheduled class periods. Service may be on or off campus. Contact instructor for additional information.”
