The Colonial Academic Alliance (CAA) Undergraduate Research Conference will be held this year at Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA on March 27-29, 2015. This conference is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their research. This year marks the 13th anniversary of the establishment of the CAA, which includes: Towson University, The College of Charleston, College of William & Mary, Drexel University, Elon University, Hofstra University, James Madison University, Northeastern University, University of Delaware, and University of North Carolina—Wilmington.
The CAA Conference is an opportunity for undergraduate students to present the results of their research, service, and scholarship from a broad range of disciplines to an audience of fellow researchers, including students, faculty, and administrators.
Last year, TU hosted the 2014 CAA conference and students from participating universities made presentations from departments including Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Psychology, Political Science, Music, Business and Engineering, Information Systems, Kinesiology, Philosophy & History, Finance, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Dance, International Studies, Sociology, Political Science, Classics, Art, English, Anthropology, Journalism, Digital Media, Mechanical Engineering, Music, Television Production, Forensic Science, Physics, Astronomy, and Geosciences, and Religious Studies.
Each member institution is invited to nominate 10 students to present poster and oral presentations. Two presentations from each participating institution should be oral presentations.
The Director of the Office of Undergraduate will accompany the student participants to this conference, in addition to another faculty member.

Applications are due by 5 p.m., February 18, 2015.
The student and faculty advisor will be required to sign and date the form. A PDF version of this signed and completed form should be emailed to: undergradresearch@towson.edu.

All expenses will be covered by Towson University’s Office of Undergraduate Research.
