Fisher College of Science and Mathematics Women in Science Forum

The Towson University Women in Science Forum will be held March 7, 2015 (8:30 AM – 1 PM) in Smith Hall at Towson University (Room 326).  The Forum provides an arena for science and mathematics teachers, students interested in careers in science and mathematics, and scientists and mathematicians from academia and industry to meet, network, and hear about the research work of nationally known scientists and mathematicians.

We have a very exciting line-up of speakers this year.  Dr. Margaret Chandler (Scientific Review Officer at the National Institutes of Health), Dr. Dawnielle Farrar-Gaines (Senior Electrical and Materials Engineer at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory), and Dr. Cynthia J. Decker (Executive Director of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration Science Advisory Board).

Registration is free and a complimentary continental breakfast and a lunch buffet will be provided.  Please let us know if you will be coming by February 20th so that we might have a true head count for ordering food.  This can be done by a direct email to me (ggasparich@towson.edu), phone call (410-704-4602) or via a faxed or mailed registration form indicating contact information and whether you want breakfast and/or lunch.

Contact information:   If you have any questions, contact Dr. Gail Gasparich at ggasparich@towson.edu or by telephone at 410-704-4602.
