Towson University will be closed starting Wednesday, December 24, 2014 and will resume normal operations on January 5, 2015. The winter holiday hours were added in mid-December. Your holiday balance will appear higher than usual. Below is a sample timesheet for that period.

Employees who worked the entire year in 2014, and who have not already taken any of their floating holidays, will not need to use any of their own leave to cover the winter holidays. All 8 days will be covered by accrued holiday hours.
The last day for Regular employees to use 2014 personal or holiday leave is January 6, 2015. Any unused personal or holiday leave after that date will be forfeited. Contingent employees and employees who work in 24/7 operations should refer to their Supervisor or Department Head for holiday coverage instructions.
Employees may not carry over more than 50 annual leave days beyond January 6, 2015.
