Required Inventory Underway!

Now through the month of November, the Property Records unit will be completing an inventory of Towson’s assets valued at $5,000 or greater.  The inventory process includes physical verification of the assets by Property Records personnel.  This is an important activity of the University, necessary for the safeguarding of University property and for compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.  Your help and attention is important – please assist us by taking the following steps:

  1. An inventory report will be sent to the Inventory Coordinator for your area.  Carefully review the inventory report.
  2. Identify and locate the assets on the list in advance of your appointment.
  3. Meet the Property Records staff member at the scheduled time, and direct them to the assets on the report.
