Register for the NY Times in the Classroom

Each semester TU faculty members integrate the New York Times, USA Today, and the Baltimore Sun into the classroom curriculum. Faculty who specifically include the NY Times in their Fall course syllabus receive FREE home delivery of the New York Times, Monday through Friday during the semester.

Integration of newspapers into course curriculum allows for discussion and reflection on topics that have direct impact on the students, from social issues and new technology to the global economy and career opportunities. Promoting Civic Engagement is a university priority that is captured in the Towson University 2020 plan.

Copies of all three newspapers are available for FREE to students, faculty, and staff at 12 locations across campus, Monday through Friday during the fall and spring semesters. Access to all three newspapers can be found online. Additional faculty resources can be found by clicking on the PawPrints Collegiate Readership Program website at www.towson.edu/pawprints.

All members of the TU community are eligible for a 50% discount on digital subscriptions (which gives unlimited access to the Times online, tablets, and smartphones), which results in a monthly billing of $7.50. For more information please contact the Office of Civic Engagement.

Faculty members interested in participating in the New York Times in the Classroom Program should complete the sign up form found on the PawPrints website or click this link to go directly to the form.
