Established in Spring 2013 as an integrative unit within Academic Affairs, the Office of Academic Innovation houses the OAI Faculty Lab, Multimedia Services (Video Production & Graphic Design), Instructional Design support, and recording studio.
Faculty Lab Software Updates: Adobe Creative Cloud suite, Adobe Captivate, NVIVO (qualitative data analysis software), Raptivity Essential Pack and Active Learning TurboPack (interactive learning object templates) are now available within the OAI faculty lab. If you require assistance or would like to initiate a Raptivity/Captivate project request please contact Tiffany Henley (4-4977 or ciatprojects@towson.edu) for an appointment.
Faculty Recording Studio: The OAI faculty studio consists of a small room equipped with a windows computer, mic, webcam, and background. The studio comfortably fits 1-2 presenters. Faculty may use the room to participate in academic related webinars and/or record instructional content. If you are interested in reserving this space, please submit your name, date and desired reservation time to OAI@towson.edu at least 1 week in advance.
New Hours: OAI Faculty lab is open Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 PM
