Gail Lukens Retirement

After 30 years of state service, Gail Lukens has decide to retire, effective June 30, 2014.  Gail has worked at Towson University for over 17 years, starting in 1997 with Financial Services as a contingent employee.  She moved to the Fisher College of Science & Mathematics and worked in the Chemistry Department in 1999.  From there she jumped to the Provost Budget Office and worked under Provost’s Dr. Dan Jones, Dr. James Brennan and Dr. James Clements.

In 2008 Gail laterally moved to the College of Liberal Arts under Dean Terry Cooney, which at that time was located in the Linthicum Building.  In 2010 the College of Liberal Arts moved into its new building on the former site of the Lida Lee Tall Building.  She has a great big window facing Hawkins Hall and sometimes you can find her waving to whoever walks by.

Please stop by LA room 2213, if you have a chance before June 30, to wish Gail a very happy retirement.

After that you might find her flying around on her broomstick visiting various European countries.
