Summer casual dress will be permitted for Towson employees beginning Tuesday, May 27 and end the first day of the fall 2014 classes, Wednesday, August 27. Offices choosing to adopt this practice should establish guidelines for staff during special internal or external activities or events at which employees represent the university.
Suggested business casual attire includes collared shirts without ties, dress slacks or khakis and golf shirts for men; dress slacks and casual shirts for women. Athletic shoes, shower flip flops, athletic pants, shorts or shirts, jeans or tee shirts are inappropriate office wear.
