Daniel Singer, Finance, and Doug Ross and Doug Sanford, Management, received Best Paper Award in the Innovative Education Track from the 2014 Northeast Decision Sciences Institute (NEDSI) Conference in Philadelphia this March for their paper titled “Does Course Convenience Equal Learning? That’s What Our Students Think.”

Peter Lev, Electronic Media and Film, gave a lecture sponsored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on March 17. The topic was “Twentieth Century-Fox: the Zanuck-Skouras Years, 1935-1965” (the title of Dr. Lev’s 2013 book). The venue was the Linwood Dunn Theater in the Mary Pickford Center for Film Study in Hollywood, CA. EMF faculty members Marc May and Cary Anderson were in the audience.
