What to do if you receive a suspicious email

In response to the increasing volume of phishing emails being received by faculty and staff members, OTS has created a new streamlined method for informing OTS about any phishing emails you receive on your TU email account.

Starting today, if you receive a phishing email, simply forward it along to phishing@towson.edu.  OTS staff will take care of the rest.

As a reminder, phishing is a scamming method to gain your NetID credentials and thereby gain access to all of the data you access.  For more information about phishing, go here.

OTS will send additional educational information about phishing next week, so please stay tuned to T3!
