Jay Zimmerman (Mathematics) gave a talk, “Large Odd Order Groups of Fixed Genus” at the Joint Mathematics Meeting in Baltimore on Friday, January 17, 2014. Mike Noll (Office of Human Resources) completed the Performance Management Competency Focus, one of a number of mini certificates offered by the Office of Human Resources. This mini certificate is designed to show supervisors that providing timely feedback and growing their staff is not a once a year activity. They also want to better understand the importance of conducting performance reviews.
