Towson University’s Bursars Office is now accepting tuition remission requests for Towson’s 2014 Spring semester until Friday, February 7, 2014. Tuition remission benefits for the Spring 2014 are limited to a maximum of eight (8) credits for employees, and up to fifteen (15) credits for an eligible spouse and/or dependent child. Note that any forms submitted after February 7 will require a letter to request approval of a late submission.
Please note that 1:1 courses such as advanced studio and private lessons, self-support programs such as computer certification courses, College of Education closed contract courses and the Towson Learning Network are currently excluded from the tuition remission program at Towson.
Deadlines and other limitations/restrictions announced by other USM institutions and the reciprocity institutions (Baltimore City Community College, Morgan State University and St. Mary’s College of Maryland) are available under the Tuition Remission heading of the OHR Benefits website at

Keep in mind that the tuition form and affidavit are combined as one document and must contain your signature and your supervisor’s signature. Please be sure to initial the appropriate areas on the tax affidavit. All requests for tuition remission must be returned to Towson’s OHR for certification and processing.
