When the record-setting Tiger football team leaves campus on Thursday for its NCAA FCS quarter-final game, all fans are invited to give them a proper send-off.
The fifth-ranked Tigers, who will face Eastern Illinois in the quarter-finals on Friday night, will be leaving campus on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 11:45 a.m. The team will be boarding buses for the trip to BWI Airport where they will board a plane for the trip to Eastern Illinois.
The send-off will take place behind the Field House. Towson Spirit Groups will be there, along with Doc The Tiger.
Fans are encouraged to make signs and show their spirit while wishing the Tigers the best of luck in their game on Friday night.
Tiger fans coming from off-campus are encouraged to park in Towson Center lots or Lot 13 and use the Park and Display stations.
This event will occur, rain, snow or shine.
A viewing party is also planned for Friday evening at Bateman’s. The Tigers face the Panthers at 8:00 p.m. (EST).
