September 2013
Dear Colleagues,
Each fall, we invite you to participate in two fundraising in support of the university. One is the TU Faculty/Staff Giving Campaign, and the other is the Maryland Charities Campaign.
Each gives faculty and staff members the opportunity to support TU, but because they are separate efforts, we wanted to take a moment to explain the difference between these two campaigns.
The TU Faculty/Staff Giving Campaign:
- Gives faculty and staff members the opportunity to support the university directly
- Enables donors to designate gifts to a college, department, or special area of interest
- Allows you to make your gift over a period of time, and/or through payroll deduction
- Allows you to sign up at any time
The Maryland Charities Campaign:
- Gives faculty and staff members the opportunity to support the university and/or other charities
- Enables donors to designate gifts to a college, department or special area of interest
- This year again, specific information on how to do this will be included with the MD Charities packets.
- Allows you to make your gift over a period of time, and/or through payroll deduction
- Runs only from October 10 – 31
Please consider joining our efforts and participate in these campaigns. Your support means a great deal to the university. If you have further questions, please contact Meghan Culbertson, Director of the Annual Campaign, at 410.704.4681.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Dr. Gary Rubin Dr. Deb Moriarty
