Towson University’s Faculty Development and Research Committee (FDRC) is pleased to announce the Fall-2013 Faculty Grant Opportunity.
Significant changes have been made to the FDRC grant program. Faculty are encouraged to review the NEW Program Guidelines and Application Forms, available on the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research website.
FDRC Research Grants provide opportunities for faculty members to further their scholarship, to advance their research, to develop materials for publication, and/or to support the development of projects which may garner external funding support.
- Any full-time, tenured, or tenure-track faculty of Towson University are eligible to apply.
- Projects eligible for the fall application cycle must occur within 12 months, between January 1 and December 31 of 2014.
- Applicants may request up to $6,000 in support of a proposed research project.
- Faculty are permitted only one active FDRC grant at any given time.
- Application forms are available for download now.
- Deadline: Tuesday, October 15, 2013, 5 p.m.
FDRC grants are administered by the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research (OSPR). Applications must be received by OSPR no later than 5np.m. on the day of the deadline. Questions concerning the grant program may be directed to ospr@towson.edu, or 704-2236.
