Cleaning out your closet? Donate to the Towson University “Suits for Students” Drive!

Recently featured in a segment on WBAL TV, the TU Career Center’s bi-annual event, the Savina’s Closet “Suits for Students” Drive, is now in full swing! From now until September 10 we will be collecting gently used and/or new business suits (ties will also be accepted) to give to Towson University students absolutely FREE of charge. Your donations are tax exempt.

Where can you drop off your items on campus? We’re glad you asked! Bins are located:

  • In the lobby of the Career Center (7800 York Rd., Suite 206)
  • In the University Store
  • In the Office of the VP for Student Affairs — Adm. 237

This effort is aimed at preparing our students (particularly juniors and seniors) to make the best possible first impression with employers at upcoming job fairs, internship and job interviews, and networking events. Last year, close to 300 TU students received a business suit free of charge. Let’s keep the momentum going!

For additional information, a complete list of both on and off-campus drop-off locations, and/or to make a monetary donation, please visit http://www.tutigertracks.com/savinascloset.
