Effective today the current DPL/NPL budget summary has been modified to display Parent Level accounts instead of all the detailed child accounts in order to provide a simple 1 page view of your department’s parent budget status. It will now be known as the Department Parent Level Budget report (DPL). This change was presented to the PeopleSoft Financials Advisory Committee on 4/15/2013 and was approved and requested to be implemented as the new DPL/NPL report
Currently the DPL/NPL nVision report is the EXACT SAME budget summary report as the budget summary tab of the DAT/NAT nVision report. You will now just need to run the DAT nVision report to get the same detailed child budget summary report you were used to with the DPL. We continue to emphasize that departments should mainly be utilizing the DAT nVision report because it has everything you need to manage and track your department’s budget activity including the detailed budget summary report as well as detailed transaction listings. The DAT report is vital to the day to day management of your budget while the new DPL we hope will make it easier to view your parent budget status.
