Do you have an idea worth spreading? Apply to present at this year’s TedXTowsonU event, Crossing the Divide: Finding Common Ground. Staff/faculty and student applications are now all being accepted.
Application Information: Please complete the online application available at www.tedxtowsonu.com and submit a 3-5 minute video on Youtube that is either an excerpt from the presentation that you would like to give at TedxTowsonU or a summary of the content. We will judge submissions based on connection to the TedxTowsonU theme, presentation skill, and interest level of the topic. Applications are due Friday, April 26th by 5 p.m. Remember, your audience is primarily Towson students, how will you captivate them with your idea and convince them that it is worth spreading?
About TED: TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. TEDx events — a new initiative of the TED organization — are independently organized by local teams in various places around the world. TEdxTowsonU will happen on Thursday, May 9th from 4-8 p.m in West Village Commons.
