Date of Conference: Saturday, April 27, 2013
Location: 3rd Floor, University Union
Event Start: 10 a.m.
This year’s EnviroFest will continue a tradition of provoking thought and action regarding the environment and the effects of human decisions. Additionally, this conference will feature a Career Resource & Mentoring Room to promote green careers and to help students plan for their future in a green business environment. The Baltimore Collegetown Network of institutions will also be participating in this year’s EnviroFest so students and faculty from neighboring colleges and universities will be in attendance.
Instructors are encouraged to promote this conference to students through syllabi inserts or through the offering of extra credit opportunities. EnviroFest is an extremely informative event and this year’s schedule of events is set to help students gain a deeper understanding of environmental issues, as well as help them achieve a career in which they can exert their passions. We hope that faculty will join us in promoting such a beneficial event.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Coordinator for Civic Engagement.
We hope that you will consider adding this onto your syllabi.
Thank you,
