As the campus-wide VoIP upgrade is drawing to a close, OTS would like to update the campus of the final stages of this project.
First, the success of this project was made possible by the efforts of many people throughout the campus community. For this, OTS would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your participation. OTS could not have done this project without the assistance and patience of everyone.
Everyone should have a new phone:
In our efforts to upgrade every NEC phone to a new Cisco VoIP phone, we realize that some campus users may have been missed in this upgrade. We are asking the campus community to alert OTS if anyone has not been upgraded. This reporting can be done in several ways:
? Individual omissions: Point your web browser to {www.towson.edu/phones}. Click on the ?Where?s My New Phone? link on the left side of the webpage. A web form has been provided to enter needed information. Click the ?Submit? button and your information will be delivered to OTS.
? Full or partial department omissions: Send an email to {ciscophone@towson.edu} stating the number of users missed. Upon receiving your email, we will contact you to collect needed information. Once all information is gathered, we will schedule the upgrade.

Be assured, all NEC phones in use at this time will continue to be operational until this entire project is complete.
