New Audience Response System (?Clicker?) Loaner Program

The Office of Technology Services, through student technology fees, has purchased three sets of audience response systems (?clickers?) that are available for loan. The purpose of this program is to allow faculty members to make an informed decision on whether or not clickers will be suitable for their course. Systems from Turning Technologies, Smart and Promethean are available to check out for short-term loans (one to three weeks). If you need a permanent set for ongoing use, your department or college may be able to obtain them through a Student Technology Fee project request. Please discuss your interest in clickers with your chairperson, technology coordinator, or dean’s office in advance since procedures and approval processes vary. Allow at least three to four weeks? lead time for software installation and configuration on the office PC and the classroom computer.
