Bring Your Laptop to an OTS Clinic for a Tune-up and Security Checkup

A new TU wireless network will be implemented on January 3, 2011. All university owned laptops will need to be properly configured to connect to this network. The Office of Technology Services (OTS) is hosting several “Configuration Clinics” in December to assist in connecting to the new tu-secure wireless network and ensure that your device is properly setup. At the clinic, we will verify your laptop has the latest updates and security patches, check to make sure your laptop can be supported remotely, and make sure that Computrace (?LoJack for Laptops?) is installed to aid in recovery and protect confidential data if your laptop is lost or stolen. Finally, you?ll receive a free Laptop Survival Guide for attending.
