This is to remind all who frequently submit consultant requests to the Procurement Department that there are new policies governing the use of consultants as well as the use of honoraria. These policies were recently approved by the university and announced to the campus through the Daily Digest. The policies are available online and you can access them via the links provided below.
Please continue to submit the Consultant “Request” Over $500 to the Procurement Department; however, the Consultant “Agreement” Over $500 form can no longer be used. It has been removed from the Web site and has been replaced by an agreement form that has been reviewed and approved for use by the University Counsel’s Office. The new agreements are only available through the Procurement Department and will be provided after the Request for Consultant has been received. In the meantime, before submitting any Consultant Services Requests exceeding $500, please review the University Policies for both “Consultants” and “Honoraria ” to determine which is applicable to your particular need.
