Visit the Benefits Festival Today 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the University Union Chesapeake Rooms!

The Office of Human Resources (OHR) presents the 18th bi-annual Benefits Festival today, Wednesday, May 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the University Union Chesapeake Rooms (third floor).

Even though there is still no official confirmation announcement concerning the dates, rates and details for the expected Spring 2005 Open Enrollment period for all Maryland State insurance benefits for July 1, 2005-June 30, 2006, OHR encourages all faculty and staff members to attend.

Meet with State Health Providers as well as a wide range of vendors and Towson departments that offer a variety of services and benefits to all employees! Take advantage of free health screenings and refreshments!

Some of the vendors and organizations expected at the festival include TIAA-CREF, AIG-VALIC, College Savings Plans of MD, TU Wellness Center, Costco Wholesale, Towson University Staff Council, TU Speech Language Hearing Clinic, Burkshire Marriott Conference Hotel, Chevy Chase Bank, Sprint PCS, MD Teachers and State Employees Supplemental Retirement Plans, BJ?s Wholesale Club, State Employees Credit Union, TU Financial Services, United Buying Service, MCEA, TU Office of Technology Services and the MD State Retirement Agency.

Most of the Maryland State benefits providers have confirmed their attendance at our festival, so take advantage of the opportunity to meet with them and find out about coverage (and hopefully the costs) for the new plan year – July 1, 2005 ? June 30, 2006.

Attendance is especially important for those employees currently enrolled in the Prescription Drug plan with CaremarkPCS since there will be some major changes to that plan effective July 1, 2005.

More information about this spring?s Open Enrollment will be published in Daily Digest.

Questions should be directed to Dave Curtis, x4-6018 or {dcurtis@towson.edu}, or Gail Price, x4-6017, {gprice@towson.edu}.
