The deadline to submit a proposal for the 2004 Technology Fellows Program is Friday, Nov. 7. Applicants must complete the web-based application found at {http://pages.towson.edu/ciat/techfellows}, and winners will be announced by Monday, Dec. 8.
Sponsored by the Center for Instructional Advancement and Technology (CIAT), the program will award a $1500 stipend to up to six full-time permanent faculty members who, through their proposals, best demonstrate their ability to facilitate creative and innovative projects in which technology is used to enhance teaching.
The CIAT review committee will select proposals that go beyond the normal scope of course or curriculum design, promote active student learning and critical thinking skills and provide opportunities for faculty to learn new technology or instructional skills for course development.
