The Office of Human Resources (OHR) presents the annual Benefits Festival today, Wednesday, Nov. 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the University Union Potomac Lounge (second floor).
Meet with State Health Providers and Benefit Vendors! Take advantage of free health screenings and refreshments!
Even though there is still no official announcement concerning the dates and details of the anticipated 2004 Open Enrollment period for all Maryland State insurance benefits for calendar year 2005, OHR encourages all faculty and staff members to attend.
All of the Maryland State benefits providers have confirmed their attendance at our festival, so take advantage of the opportunity to meet with them and find out about coverage (and hopefully the costs) for 2005.
Attendance is especially important for those employees currently enrolled in the United Concordia Dental Point of Service plan. Since the DPOS will no longer be offered by the State of Maryland in 2005, those employees will have to elect a new dental plan during Open Enrollment in order to have any State dental coverage in 2005.
