Materiel Management and its Property Records office are reminding all departments to provide both make and model on computers being disposed when filling out the description area of the Materiel Management Service Request (MMSR) form.

Also, departments must confirm – in the Special Instructions section of the MMSR – that computers have been wiped of data and software or hard drives have been removed. The Office of Technology Services can help.
