Need a Free Research Assistant?

Would you like to learn about a tool similar to EndNote and ProCite that will allow you to organize the resources you need to teach your classes and/or use for your research? Cook Library has subscribed to RefWorks, which can do just that. RefWorks is a Web-based program that allows you to create a personal database of resources such as books, articles, book chapters, and Web sites. Periodical citations can be imported directly from an online database.

Join librarians Sara Nixon and Shana Gass for an introduction to this bibliographic management tool on Wednesday, June 14, from 10 ? 11:30 a.m. in the Cook 526 computer classroom.

By the end of the session you will have:
– Set up an account.
– Created folders.
– Entered citations manually and imported them directly from a database.
– Edited citations.
– Generated a bibliography in a specific style format.

Register for the workshop at {http://fusion.towson.edu/www/ciat/workshops/}. We look forward to seeing you there!
