The Maryland State Retirement Agency has released the Spring 2004 schedule for their LIFE PLANNING seminars which are geared to the needs of faculty and staff members of the MD State Retirement/Pension System who are at the mid-career stage in their lives. These seminars are designed to prepare eligible faculty and staff members for retirement before their last few years of employment.
Faculty and staff employees with between 5-20 years of Maryland State Retirement Agency eligibility credit towards retirement, and their spouses, are eligible to attend these one-day seminars. The seminars are scheduled to run from 8:30a.m. to 4:00p.m. Because of space limitations, registrations will only be accepted for those faculty and staff members of the MSRA meeting the eligibility requirements. Towson University is a host site for several of these seminars this Spring – March 26, May 14, and June 3, 2004. In addition, seminars are being offered at other locations throughout the state. Since registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, interested Towson University employees should obtain the necessary registration form as soon as possible from the Towson University Office of Human Resources. Please note that the completed registration forms should NOT be returned to the Towson University Office of Human Resources Office but instead must be sent to the address on the bottom of the form.
Registration forms are available in the information display rack inside the Towson University Office of Human Resources at the Administration building, or can be obtained by calling 410-704-6017 or EMAIL: {gprice@towson.edu}.
