Looking for international material to enhance your curriculum or to develop a new course? A CIEE International Faculty Development Seminar could be the answer. The Council on International Education Exchange is a leader in international education exchange. For 2006, the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) has expanded its offerings to 24 seminars — 4 in January and 20 during June and July. New programs include topics such as Muslim Communities in Contemporary Europe; Migration, Identity, and Culture in Senegal and Cape Verde; Religion and NGOs in Taiwanese Society; and Approaches to Public Health Interventions in a Low Resource Setting (Uganda).

To apply for a grant to attend one of the 2006 seminars, prepare a letter of application (2-page maximum) that discusses the relevance of the program you select to your teaching and/or research. Include your title, department, and dates of prior participation in CIEE seminars. Email your letter of application to Liz Todd Lambert {elambert@towson.edu}, Office of International Programs, by Monday, October 3, 2005. Please prepare your letter as a Word document and send as an email attachment.
