SPRING GENERAL MEETING OF THE AAUP
The Spring General Meeting of the AAUP is scheduled for Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at 3:30 pm in Room 309-310 of the University Union. EVERYONE IS WELCOME. REFRESHMENTS WILL BE SERVED.

Agenda
1. Report of the Officers.
2. Discuss a change in the ByLaws. Specifically, add a webmaster as a new member of the executive committee.
3. Elect the president, vice-president, treasurer and secretary of the AAUP/Faculty Association for the next two year term. (The election will occur at 4:00 and you must be present to vote. Statements from the candidates for AAUP office are on the web at {http://pages.towson.edu/astorrs/AAUP.htm}
4. Discuss and vote on two resolution proposals.
a. Resolution on Changes to University Promotion and Tenure
b. Preserving Academic Freedom ? Opposition to Maryland House Bill 964
5. Address the concerns of the National AAUP about local only membership.
6. Reactivation of Standing Committees.
7. Discuss and vote on holding the regional AAUP conference in October at Towson.
8. Open Forum.
