The Center for Productive Aging, part of Towson University?s Gerontology Program, and the Institute for Teaching and Research on Women (ITROW) invite you to attend this community forum, an ?Official White House Conference on Aging” event, to learn more about women and Social Security, to share your ideas and thoughts about this topic, and to develop a set of policy recommendations for the upcoming White House Conference on Aging.
The Community Forum, Women at Risk: The Future of Social Security will take place on Friday, April 29, 2005 at 8:30AM until 12:00PM. It will be located at Towson University in the University Union Chesapeake Room 1. Parking will be available at the University Union Parking garage. No permit will be necessary. Speakers include, Laurie Young, Executive Director of OWL, Maya Rockeymorre, VP for Research and Programs of Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, and Ann Widger, Intergenerational Testimony Chair and Former Field Director of 2030 Center.
