AWARDS FOR FACULTY RESEARCH
FALL 2005 RESEARCH MONETARY AWARDS
Monetary grants will be awarded for the Fall 2005 semester to support research projects that will lead to a scholarly publication, performance, or exhibit, or for preparation of a proposal to an external funding agency. Faculty are encouraged to submit grant applications that include undergraduate or graduate students in their research projects.
SUMMER 2005 STIPEND AWARDS
Monetary awards will be awarded to conduct or continue a research project. Awardees must agree not to teach more than one regular summer course at TU or any other institution during the award period.
Note: Faculty may use the same form to apply for any combination of monetary, assigned time and summer stipend awards for the same project. A separate form must be submitted for each separate project.

FALL 2005 TEACHING INNOVATION GRANTS
These grants are intended for the improvement of teaching and for professional development. Faculty are encouraged in particular to submit proposals using innovative teaching course design and/or methodologies. Normal course development or departmental projects that are primarily for administrative purposes are not eligible.
SUMMER 2005 MINI GRANTS
The deadline for submitting grant applications is Friday, February 4, 2005–Center for Faculty Excellence-Room 212, Administration Building-4:30pm.
Awards are made for the improvement of teaching and the curriculum at TU. Proposals may be made toward any segment of the academic program, including day, evening, or summer.
